About WishUno

WishUno lets people express and symbolically share one active wish. The shooting star and ritual are narrative elements. WishUno does not guarantee real-world outcomes.

Data we process

• A Supabase account identifier, initially anonymous.
• The original wish text, private and visible only to its owner.
• Declared language and country of residence; WishUno does not request GPS or precise location.
• Anonymous public wording, aggregate counts and essential usage events that exclude the original text.
• Reports, hidden-content preferences, Terms acceptance and voluntarily submitted feedback.
• Email or provider data only if the user voluntarily links an account.

Automated interpretation

When the catalogue cannot recognise a sentence, the backend may send the text to Groq to propose anonymous wording, classify it and translate it. URLs, email addresses, phone numbers and handles are removed first; other user-entered data, including names, may still be processed. The user reviews the public title before confirmation, and the service credential remains on the backend.

Groq documentation states that request and response content may be retained in the United States for up to 30 days for reliability and abuse prevention unless Zero Data Retention is enabled and applicable. Technical usage metadata may be retained separately.

Purposes and providers

Data is used to provide the requested service, moderate content, maintain one active wish, show aggregate statistics, protect the platform, handle reports and support, and comply with legal obligations. Intended legal bases are performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and abuse prevention, consent where required and applicable legal obligations.

WishUno uses Supabase for authentication, database and Edge Functions, Groq for automated interpretation, and Google Play for distribution. Providers may process data under their agreements and in their stated locations, which may involve international transfers under applicable safeguards. The launch version has no purchases or subscriptions.

Retention, security and rights

Account-linked data is retained while the account is active or as strictly needed for security, legal obligations and disputes. Content sent to Groq may remain for up to 30 days as described above. Deletion removes the account and linked personal data; non-identifiable aggregate statistics, temporary provider logs and legally required records may remain.

Communications use HTTPS, while authentication, JWT validation, Row Level Security and trusted server functions protect access. No system is risk-free.

Children and changes

WishUno is not specifically designed for children. Its intended audience is 13+, subject to the final store rating and settings. This notice will be updated when data practices, providers or features change.
